Join us for an organizing meeting on Wednesday, October 23, at 7 pm, in the Vernon Hills area.
Following our successful communications meeting, we are now seeking dedicated volunteers to help in these areas:
• Organizing other volunteers

• Coordinating training
• Planning, scheduling, and managing voter registration events
• Planning, scheduling, and managing canvassing
• Producing and distributing walk lists via Vote Builder and other lists
• Planning, scheduling, and managing phone banks
• Managing data input
If you’re interested and wish to attend our October 23rd meeting, please click here and let us know why you’re interested in a leadership role with us. Also, share with us anything else you’d like us to know about you.
Support the Clean Energy Jobs Act
Are you frustrated with the federal administration’s regressive environmental policies? Want to do something about it? We’ve got just the thing.
On Tuesday, October 29, join supporters of the Illinois Environmental Council at the Capitol in Springfield for Veto Session Lobby Day where we will be supporting the Clean Energy Jobs Act. No previous lobbying experience is necessary to take part – we will provide you with training, talking points, and guides to help you navigate the capitol building and find your legislators.
We will be providing buses – free of charge – to Springfield leaving from locations across the state.
We are closer than ever to passing the Clean Energy Jobs Act (CEJA), and we have one final push during this upcoming veto session to make it happen.
But, we need you and as many other passionate environmentalists as possible to join us for our veto session lobby day to show our elected officials how many of us care about tackling climate change.
CEJA addresses climate change head-on by leading Illinois to 100% clean energy, decarbonizing our power sector, electrifying our transportation sector, and providing economic development and job opportunities across the state.
Our opponents have money, power and influence in Springfield, so your representatives need to hear from you directly on this.
I hope you can join us!

This time we’ll be meeting at the Grayslake home of Dorothy and Jeff Ryan. Please use the button below to RSVP by Oct. 27. Exact location will be provided upon RSVP.
Everything you’ll need will be provided, including drinks and snacks. All we need is you!
