Attention Lake County, IL Residents!
What you need to know:
North Shore Sports Club, an elite, private gun club in unincorporated Lake Forest, has applied for a license to serve alcohol. The matter was heard by the Lake County Liquor Commission on July 6, 2017 but was postponed. An additional hearing for the decision has been scheduled for July 31, at 9 am. Lake County Board Chairman Aaron Lawlor is the only member of the Lake County Liquor Commission and the decision is his to make, with input from the Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran.
Tell the Lake County Liquor Commission: Guns and liquor are a bad mix!
Take Action: Send an Email or Call expressing concern that firearms and alcohol is a bad combination.
Email Lake County Board Chairman Aaron Lawlor and Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran and your County Board member (lookup) and urge them not to grant this liquor license.
