Tenth Dems and Tenth Dems University are sponsoring volunteers to participate in a training seminar in Cook County for residents who want to become Deputy Voter Registrars. The training session is conducted by the County Clerk’s office, and once you complete the session you will officially be able to register others to vote.Deputy Voter Registrar Training in Northbrook
Date: Saturday, August 24, from 10:00 – 11:00am
Location: Northbrook Public Library, Civic room, 1201 Cedar Lane, Northbrook

There are certain requirements. You must be 18 years old and registered to vote in Cook County. Once you are trained to register voters in Cook County, you can register voters anywhere in Illinois.

In order to attend these sessions, the County Clerk’s office needs your name and registered voting address in advance. If your family or friends are interested, forward them the Tenth Dems note — they have to sign themselves up.
